The Dolphin Experience is a special program that teaches the biology of the common bottlenose dolphin and provides guests with the experience to witness the strength and capabilities of dolphins first-hand.
In this program, you can interact with dolphins in shallow waters and even hold onto their dorsal fins and swim with them.

Program Flow
Step 01
Meet at the Front Desk
Our cast will provide participants with a lecture on the biology of the common bottlenose dolphin so they can better understand the secret behind the dolphin’s colors, the role of the dorsal fin, and more.
Step 02
Participants will change into Kobe Suma Sea World’s original wetsuit to prepare for interactions with dolphins.
*We will provide participants with a rental wetsuit and life jacket at the hotel.
Step 03
Participants will experience feeding the dolphins and giving them cues, as well as be able to hold onto their dorsal fins and swim with them. At the end of the program, we will provide participants with a commemorative photo taken together with the dolphins to take home and look back upon their time at the experience.
*On the day of the activity, participants can switch to a program that incorporates swimming with dolphins.

- For safety reasons, participants must be over 130 cm in height and under 100 kg in weight, with the ability to swim beyond 25 meters.
- Guests with walking disabilities and those with small children are not permitted to participate. We ask for your understanding.
- Children (under junior high school age) are not allowed to participate without an adult.
- Up to 3 groups per day *2-6 persons per group
- Reservations are available via internet only. (No reservations by telephone)

- Programs may be cancelled/changed due to the animals’ condition or inclement weather.
- Participation will not be permitted to those who are or appear to be intoxicated.
- The hotel is not responsible for any injuries sustained during the program. Please refrain from participating if you have any concerns regarding age, stature, stamina, health condition, etc.
- Participants with long hair will be required to tie it up.
- All accessories, including glasses, must be taken off, but glasses may be worn with a special strap in some areas.
- Photography devices (such as cameras, smartphones, etc.) are not permitted on the beach.
- Programs will not be extended if participants are late to their start time.
- This plan is exclusive to guests staying at the hotel. Programs are subject to cancellations if hotel reservations cannot be confirmed.
- Participants will be required to sign the Participation Terms of Agreement. If you cannot consent to the agreement’s terms or if hotel staff determine as such, your program reservation may be cancelled.
- A filming/photography crew may enter the area to capture content for website/social media updates or due to press coverage. We ask for your understanding.
